Maiduguri Mosque Bomber was Disguised as a Man
One of the female suicide bombers who attacked a mosque in Maiduguri, Borno State this morning had disguised herself as a man, says Malam Farouk, a member of a security group formed in response to the insurgency waged by militant Islamists in the region.
Malam Farouk told Reuters that the bomber joined men who were praying in the congregation, and then blew herself up at the mosque in Umarari village, which is on the outskirts of Maiduguri city, the command centre of military operations against the militant

President Buhari Tuesday in Malabo condemned recent political violence in Rivers State, saying that the killing of people over political differences was primitive, barbaric and unacceptable. "We will deal decisively with all sponsors of violence. I have given the security services clear directives in this regard. We will show that violence in any form will no longer be tolerated before, during or after elections," the President said at an interactive meeting with Nigerians resident in Equatorial Guinea.
