An iconic musician in music history, Prince is dead. according to breaking news on international media platforms including  Sky News and TMZ ,his body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning, April 21st. He was 57 years old.

Little Boy Shoots & Kills Himself with Mother’s Shotgun

A little boy of two years, shot and killed himself after taking a gun from his mother's purse on the kitchen counter when she wasn't watching, Indianapolis police say. Officers found the child with a single gunshot wound to the chest when they arrived at the home around 9pm Wednesday.

Amnesty scheme for ex militants to end by 2018

The amnesty scheme for former militants in the oil-rich Niger Delta region is set to end within the next two years, a spokesman for the programme, Owei Lakemfa said on Thursday.

“Under the programme that we have now, the amnesty scheme should end within two years, that is by 2018, all things being equal,” said Lakemfa.

herdsmen invade Oyo farms, shoot guard

About 18 persons suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have invaded farms in Lagun Village, Lagelu Local Council of Oyo State and shot a chief security guard, Jimmy Aido. They also robbed the residents of the farms, carting away an undisclosed amount of money in the process.

While Aido is currently recuperating at the Iwo Medical Centre in Iwo, Osun State where he was hospitalised, the workers have all deserted the farms for fears of a repeat visit by the attackers.

62 year old Man says; "I impregnated my Daughter & I'll Marry Her "

Mr. Matthew Emeaguboro, a 62 year old man in Apo, Abuja, has allegedly impregnated his 13-year -old daughter (names withheld), a Junior Secondary School two student of Apo Resettlement Secondary School, Abuja.


The family lives in a one- bedroom apartment and neighbours who insisted on anonymity, told Abuja Metro that the sex rump between the father and daughter had been going on for a long time.

Security men attacked, two kidnapped by Fulani Herdsmen

Some Fulani herdsmen reportedly attacked a joint team of the Nigerian Army and Mobile Police Force personnel in Agatu and kidnapped a police man.


One of the policemen, Corporal Ebiakpo Akparakazi and ASP Moses Yamu, were also reported missing during the attack.

Federal Government loses secret trial bid as Dasuki gets access to lawyers

Nigeria's Federal Government yesterday lost its bid to conduct a secret trial of former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The court also ordered that Tuesdays and Thursdays be set aside for Dasuki to have free access to his lawyers and family members for at least, two hours on each of the days
