TMZ was told Celine and Rene discussed unloading the home before his death, and she's now planning to live full-time in Las Vegas to do her Caesars Palace show,  and because her kids are comfortable there  More pictures after the cut......

Bobbi Kristina Brown Reportedly Died from Combination of Alcohol, Drugs & Drowning

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office has released a statement that revealed Bobbi Kristina Brown died from a combination of alcohol, drugs and drowning, but it's still unclear whether her death was murder, suicide or an accident.

According to the statement, Bobbi Kristina died of lobar pneumonia, which was caused by the combination of drugs found in her system, drowning and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy - a neurological condition resulting from a lack of oxygen to the brain.

The medical examiner's office says the drugs involved in the cause of death included marijuana, alcohol (ethanol), benzoylecgonine (a cocaine-related substance), benzodiazepines (medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety), and morphine.

'It could not be determined from toxicology tests whether the morphine resulted from heroin use.'

They also said the autopsy alone could not reveal the underlying cause of death because of the long interval between Brown being found unresponsive in the bathtub and her eventual death.

Court Grants Moro Bail on Self Recognition

The former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro has been granted bail on self recognition, by Justice A. I Chikere of the Federal High Court, Abuja. Moro had spent three days at Kuje Prison, Abuja, before the order for his release by the court.
While delivering her ruling, Justice Chikere held that Moro had no criminal record and was a public officer, therefore, she believed that he would not jump bail. After her ruling, she fixed April 27 for the commencement of trial.

On Wednesday, she fixed Thursday for ruling on the bail application of Moro after listening to the arguments of the prosecuting and the defense counsel.
Uche Chris (SAN), counsel to Nwobia, had asked the court to grant his client bail, arguing that she was a nursing mother and a victim of circumstance in the case. The court had granted his request but remanded Moro, the first defendant, in the case in prison. According to the EFCC, “Moro, Anastasia Daniel Nwobia, F O Alayebami, Mahmood Ahmadu (at large) and Drexel Tech Nigeria Ltd allegedly defrauded a total of 675, 675,000 Nigerian applicants to the tune of N675,675,000, representing N1000 per applicant through e-payment for an online recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Immigration Service on March 17, 2013.”

However, the third and the fourth accused persons, Nwobia and F O Alayebami, were granted bail in the sum N100m and one surety each in like sum. According to the court, the sureties must be directors in the federal civil service. The two accused persons must also submit two recent passport-sized photographs.

(pictures) EFCC arrests suspected internet fraudster

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested a suspected internet fraudster, Tonwerigha Tombrown, for allegedly duping an Irish businesswoman, Izabela Glogowska, of €53,000 (equivalent of N11.6million) in an online scam.
Glogowska alleged that Tombrown, who posed as a prominent online trader, Michael Freeman, tricked her into sending him €1,000 via Western Union/Money gram as payment for a business deal, a statement by the EFCC said Friday.
She added that he later pretended to be one Ben Andrews demanding additional €10,000 claiming that there was a policy change.
The same Andrews advised her to send the money to Tombrown in Nigeria, and the money was later diverted to a fake account.
Efforts to recover her money proved abortive, hence she petitioned the EFCC

Oshiomhole replies Senator Dino Melaye over ‘made-in-Nigeria wife’ comment

The Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Friday said the senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, displayed “hollowness” by delving into a matter as private as his marriage to his wife.
According to a statement issued by the governor’s spokesman, Peter Okhiria, he said the attack was unprovoked, urging Mr. Melaye to apologise
“As a ‘nephew’ of the governor and member of the same party [with the governor], we expected Senator Melaye to tender an unreserved public apology to the comrade governor''.
“It is an open secret that Senator Melaye cannot maintain a decent matrimonial home hence he could descend to this pedestrian level of using the hallowed chambers to ‘cargorise’ women as if they were pieces of items for purchase.
Any responsible individual that is truly worth to be called a senator, a position that convokes respect, decorum and decent public conduct, should know the limits of his verbal diarrhea.
The liberty of free speech guaranteed in the hallowed chambers does not impose lunacy on anyone to disparage other Nigerians, let alone pry into their matrimony in a very derisive manner.
“We had intended to ignore this uncomplimentary comment as one of the several empty displays of the senator, but the fact that it tends to reduce women to pieces of tissue calls for this response.
As we probed into Dino Melaye’s humanity, we were reminded that he is a man known for his vainglorious rodomontade and the childish display of his ostentatious lifestyle, which complement his love for foreign items.
“Many of such Euro-centric mentality he has persistently displayed on social media, to underscore his materialistic eccentricity, hence his dialectical opposition to made-in-Nigeria goods.
But an attempt at making women wear the garb of goods to be picked off the shelves was to take the issue to a ridiculous and irresponsible level.
By delving into the private affair and marriage of the comrade governor, Senator Melaye has exposed himself as a simpleton and a court jester whose words and tactlessness cannot be taken seriously by matured people. We advise that Mr. Melaye should mend his ways with his ex-wife and concubines before coming to the village square to display his crass ignorance and emptiness to the Nigerian people''.
“If he has anything to offer, Dino Melaye should concentrate on making good laws for the people of Nigeria rather than descend to a ridiculous level, thus displaying to the whole world his unworthiness to sit in the hallowed chambers of the Nigerian Senate,” the statement added
It will be recalled that earlier in the week, Senator  Melaye, who represents Kogi West senatorial district, had on Wednesday cited Mr. Oshiomhole’s marriage to a Cape Verdean as an example of Nigerians refusing to patronise made-in-Nigeria goods.
“What are those factors limiting the production of these goods? We must tackle them. We must also begin to look at our legislation, then we will begin to talk about made-in-Nigeria goods,” Mr. Melaye had said.
“We will also move in order to encourage made-in-Nigeria products and begin to talk about made-in-Nigeria women.

Federal High Court rejects ex-Defence Chief Badeh’s application for bail

An Abuja  Federal High Court on Friday struck out a bail application filed by former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh.
Justice John Tsoho said he could not give bail because there was a subsisting remand order by a Lagos Magistrate Court, and there was no application to set it aside.
The judge said Mr. Badeh, a retired Air Chief Marshal, only filed an application for bail, and not to set aside the order of the magistrate court obtained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The judge had on Monday reserved March 4 for his ruling on the bail application.
Mr. Badeh has been in the custody of the EFCC since February 8, and is facing a 10-count charge of criminal breach of trust and corruption to the tune N3.9billion. He denies wrongdoing.
Samuel Zibiri, counsel to the former defence chief, had asked the court to admit Mr. Badeh to bail on self-recognition or on liberal terms pending his arraignment by the anti-graft agency.
He argued that Mr. Badeh had voluntarily honoured the invitation of the EFCC on February 8.
Mr. Badeh was to be arraigned before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Thursday, but the case was shifted to March 7 owing to the absence of the judge.

(Picture) Ebonyi Speaker arrested for alleged N60 million fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Ogbonnaya Francis Nwaifuru.
Mr. Nwaifuru was picked up at about 11a.m. Friday at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, by operatives of the commission, after he ignored two previous invitations by the agency, the EFCC said in a statement.
The EFCC said Mr. Nwaifuru was first invited on October 20, 2015 to appear before the Enugu zonal office of the commission but did not respond to the invitation. A reminder letter was sent to him on November 19, 2015, which he also failed to respond to.
The lawmaker who is representing Izzi West state constituency in the Ebonyi State Assembly, allegedly diverted and misappropriated N60 million constituency project fund before his emergence as speaker.
As speaker, Mr. Nwaifuru has no constitutional immunity against prosecution under the Nigerian Constitution.

IG insists on prosecuting Yunusa- (Ese Oruru’s abductor)

The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase insisted that the abductor of the 14-year-old Ese Oruru, identified as Yinusa (a.k.a Yellow) would be prosecuted despite claims by his father that his son has not committed any crime.

Arase spoke at a one-day awareness workshop on sexual and gender-based violence in Nigeria, organised by the Nigeria Police, in collaboration with Cleen Foundation and Ford Foundation in Benin, the Edo State capital.
Ese was abducted in Bayelsa State and taken to Kano in August 2015 by Yinusa, where he converted her to Islam and forcefully married her without the consent of her parents.
The father of the suspect, identified as Alhaji Dairu Bala, had reportedly said at his Tofa home in Kuru Local Council of Kano State that his son followed “his heart” when the teenage girl “fell in love” with him and “followed him.”
But speaking through the Gender Officer, Force Criminal ‎Intelligence and Investigation Department, Mrs. Mairo Adebalogun, Arase noted that Bala’s claim of innocence was irrelevant, insisting that Yinusa would be prosecuted, adding that his father’s defense could not stand the test of law. “It does not. The father is not the person in the picture of this issue right now; it is his son. The police ‎are going to investigate and if they find him wanting, they will prosecute him.‎”
Also, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 1, Kano, Shuaibu Gambo, said the abductor of Oruru would be prosecuted.
Gambo, who gave the assurance while addressing a news conference in Kano yesterday, said the abductor of the girl, Yunusa, must face the full wrath of the law in order to serve as deterrent to others who might contemplate committing the same offence.
“The action of Yunusa is a criminal offence. So, he must be prosecuted in accordance with the law of the land,” he said. He said all those who played any role in the mishandling of the case would also be prosecuted as the IG had already ordered a full-scale investigation into the matter.

Ese Oruru: Emir of Kano and those distorting the narrative, by Femi Fani-Kayode

All those that are attempting to distort the narrative about the tragic plight of Miss Ese Oruru are evil and we commit them to God’s judgement. The facts are as follows. She is 14 years old and not 18 and she was abducted from her home. She did not leave her home freely or of her own volition. She was cruelly and wickedly carried away and stolen from her parents, family and loved ones and forcefully taken by complete strangers to a distant land. This was a land that she had never seen or been before and which was on the other side of the country

The truth is that this is not a love story about two inseparable young people: it is rather a sad and tragic tale about pedophilia, child abduction, kidnapping, human trafficking, slavery, rape, impunity, wickedness, religious bigotry and ritual sex. Worse still it is an unfolding drama at the end of which Emir Sanusi Lamido may well have a case to answer. The truth is that that little girl would have been raped over and over again and she may well have Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) or some other strange sexual disease by now. She may also be pregnant. Instead of sympathizing with her and considering the fact that she may never be the same again in view of the physical and mental torture and trauma that she has been subjected to over the last few months, some misguided souls and shameless commentators have the temerity to come to social media and say that she was old enough to “get it” whilst others say that she ”loved it” and ”wanted it”. I am utterly disgusted and appalled by these sentiments. Where is the humanity of those that speak and think like this? Where is their compassion and where is their soul? May God judge them and may their own infant daughters be abducted, forcefully Islamised, raped, enslaved and kept against their will as a sex slave in an Emir’s palace in the same way that Ese was. Meanwhile I just watched an AIT video in which Ese’s mother claimed that her daughters abductors said that it was the Emir of Kano himself that ordered her daughters abduction and that she was kept in his palace for over one year for his pleasure. If this is true it confirms the suspicion that the Emir is culpable. Again if what she has said is true it also proves that the Emir is not only a praticing pedophile but also a very sick man who must be held accountable. It is important that Emir Sanusi clears the air and tells us precisely what he did with this little girl otherwise we are entitled to assume the worse and believe what Ese’s mother has told us. Quite apart from that we are compelled to ask whether this sort of thing has happened before and how widespread it is? How many other little girls have been stolen from their homes and forced to join harems all over the nation? The famous high society blogger and respected celebrity Miss Linda Ikeji has just exposed yet another case. This time it is a young 17 year old christian girl, by the name of Miss Patience Paul, who has been abducted from her home, parents and loved ones in Benue state, forcefully taken to Sokoto, locked up in the Sultan’s palace and kept there against her will. The same thing happened to a 13 year old christian igbo girl by the name of Miss Charity Uzoechina two years ago when she was abducted, islamised, raped, married off and forced to remain in the Etsu Nupe’s palace in Minna, Niger state. This was despite the fact that her parents went to the police and authorities and made every effort to get her back. Sadly up till today they have never seen her again. Evidently we live in a strange country where evil is swept under the carpet and often justified. We live in a country where those that expose such abominations and speak truth are demonised, hated, despised and, more often than not, threatened with violence, persecution, intimidation, arrest, spurious criminal investigations and baseless civil court actions. More often than not this is the price for speaking truth and exposing the evil in Nigeria. There is clearly a conspiracy of silence about the perpetuation of evil in this country amongst the ruling elite. The feeling is that anyone can get away with anything providing they belong to a particular circle and class and providing they have money and power. And it is because they have money and power and they have powerful friends in government and in the political class that they feel that they can kill, silence, crush, abduct, cripple, ruin, sue and jail anybody that tests their will and crosses their path or that exposes the truth about their blood-chilling and perverse ways. That is the reality of Nigeria and it is a sad and sorry one. All I can say is thank God for the media and particularly for the Punch newspaper who started the ball rolling last Sunday. If not for their cover story about Ese with all those pictures on their front page the little girl would not be free and on her way home to her family today. Instead she would have still been in slavery and captivity at the Emir of Kano’s palace. We should also thank the Nation newspaper particularly for their timely editorial on this issue which was published on 1st March and which raised some pertinent questions and offered wise counsel about the way forward. The Punch, the Nation, AIT, Channels, Tribune, the Sun, Vanguard, Thisday and all the other newspaper titles and television stations in the Nigerian media and social media has done what no-one else or no other group could do. Not even the Federal Government, the various state governments, the political parties, the politicians, the security agencies, the lawyers or the so-called human rights groups could do what they managed to do or achieve what they have achieved. They have helped to secure the freedom of a helpless and defenseless little girl from slavery, torment, humiliation, destruction, death, disease and bondage and they have brought her home safely to her parents. We need more of this. Kudos to them and God bless them all. And may God damn and shame those that chose to remain silent and look the other way.

Another 14-yr-old Benue girl abducted in Sokoto

Relations of another missing 14 year old girl, Patience Paul, have alleged that the primary six pupil of Muhammed Zako Model Primary school, Sokoto, may have been abducted And  housed at the Palace of th Sultan of Sokoto.
Father of the girl, Mr. Paul Adaji, an indigene of Ochobo in Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State, told Vanguard on phone that his daughter had been missing since August 12, 2015. Adaji, who resides in Sokoto with his family, alleged that some persons spotted his daughter at the Sultan’s palace. He said: “We got information that she was in the Sultan’s palace and the last time we went there, we did not find her.” When asked how they knew she was at the palace, he said: “Some people told us that they saw her at the palace. They also used to camp some of them there, that was why we went to the palace to see if she has been taken there.
“Even her friend, who used to be a Christian, was found there. She was taken there and they converted her. “We will still continue to search for her. We will not give up; we only want the world to help us so that our daughter can be released to us.”
However, a source in Sokoto told Vanguard that the girl was actually abducted and kept at the Sultan’s palace. The source also noted that the teenager was not the only person abducted and hidden at the palace, adding that three other girls were in the palace. The source said: “What is happening is not new; it is a common occurrence in Sokoto and Katsina. Christian teenage girls are often abducted and hidden in such places. “Patience is not the only victim. Three other girls were found to have been abducted and kept at the palace. There is an Ibo girl among the three.”

(PHOTOS) - 22-Year-Old Transgender Woman Dies After Ingesting 'Suicide Seeds' Purchased Online for $5: 'I Watched My Kid Die,' Says Mom

A Illinois mother is speaking out about her 22-year-old transgender daughter who took her own life two weeks ago ago by ingesting lethal "pong pong" seeds that she purchased online for $5.

Lucia Anderson, of Calumet City, bought the mysterious seeds, which come from a native Southeast Asia plant called cerbera odollam, from an e-commerce website, according to her mother, Natosha Anderson.

They often go undetected in toxicology reports, so statistical data on the number of suicides caused by the seeds is hard to determine.

"[Lucia] had just come out a few months ago as a woman, she was being bullied online after coming out on the [Internet], and it wasn't going the way she thought it would," Anderson, 40, tells PEOPLE. "My last words to her were, 'You're going to be fine,' and then I watched my kid die."
The killer pods, which are available for purchase on various wholesale sites, cause a prolonged and painful death by inducing complete heart block within hours of ingestion – deriving the apt nickname "suicide seeds," by Internet users.

"[Lucia] was laying on the bathroom floor and vomiting," Anderson says. "At first, I thought she was sick, but then she said that she had taken a pong bean, which I had never heard of."

Experts say they are worried about the accessibility of "suicide seeds" online.

"Something like this has the potential to spread like wildfire," Indiana Poison Center medical director Dr. Daniel E. Rusyniak tells PEOPLE. "I get worried, because you get something like this that has the potential to become an phenomenon."
