South African parliament to debate Zuma’s impeachment motion Tuesday



South Africa’s parliament will debate a motion to impeach President Jacob Zuma, the National Assembly Speaker said on Sunday days after the country’s top court ruled the president had violated the constitution.

An Openly gay Nigerian man, confesses he's homesick but is scared of being lynched if he comes home

An openly gay Nigerian man, Kenny Badmus who relocated to the US after he came out of the closet in January 2015, took to his Facebook page to express his sadness at not being able to return home for fear of being lynched because of his sexuality. He said he's homesick but that even though it can be painfully and awfully lonesome sometimes, he is happy he can walk the streets of US being a gay man without fear of being lynched. Gallant Troops Capture 6 Terrorists at Boboshe & Kadawu


The gallant Troops of 22 Brigade Garrison, Army Headquarters Strike Group (AHQ SG) accompanied by some Civilian JTF on fighting patrol to Boboshe, Garna, Kyare, Kadawu, Gineba and Ajiri arrested 6 Boko Haram terrorists and recovered Improvised Explosive (IED) making devices today, Sunday 4th April 2016.



Although the fighting patrol team found Boboshe village virtually empty, they however recovered 8 industrial gas cylinders and 5 regular gas cylinders at a Primary School being used for IED making and also recovered a Pickup vehicle.

The patrol team captured 3 Boko Haram terrorists at Kadawu and recovered 4 motorcycles, 3 bicycles 1 solar panel and 2 liquid herbicides.

At Garna, the troops also captured 3 and recovered 7 locally made guns from them.


Fayose reconciles with Tope Aluko, the man who went on TV to accuse him of rigging state election (PHOTOS)

Tope Aluko, the former PDP Secretary in Ekiti state who went on Channels TV to openly accuse the state governor, Ayo Fayose of rigging the state's governorship election in 2014 and was declared wanted by the police for perjury...has reconciled with his former boss.

Aluko and Fayose met at the governor's house yesterday night where they made up. Speaking to newsmen afterwards, Fayose said Aluko remains his boy and son;


"I'm the father of all, for whatever that happened, I'm the father and I should accommodate everybody. Aluko remains my boy, my son" he said
Aluko said there was no condition given for their  settlement.

 17-year-old bride was allegedly strangled to death by her husband on the night of their wedding in a suspected case of ‘honour killing’, Jacobabad police said on Saturday.
Alleged pictures of the deceased bride is making rounds on social media and suggested that the young girl was killed by her husband for "not being a virgin".
