Nollywood filmmaker, writer, Charles Novia has aired his view on the removal of fuel subsidy by President Muhammadu Buhari and what happened in 2012 when former President Goodluck Jonathan did the same. "GEJ must be having the last laugh now. We did Occupy Nigeria on him in 2012 over this. Oya na! Who's Ojota bound this time? Hypocrites. The excuse by those who Occupied Nigeria in 2012 that they support subsidy removal now cos of corruption in the past is lame & hypocritical.

"If you had the interest of Nigeria at heart in 2012, you should have pressed for subsidy removal to save us trillions paid. Today, u lie. Please don't rationalise your putrid partisanship of 2012 compared to your glaring goof of 2016. Admit you made a mistake and move on.

"Nobody will kill you if you say 'hey, we should have gone with subsidy removal in 2012. We apologise'.To come now with hallowed tripe..smh

"The past govts had balls to sensitise the public before such subsidy actions. This one ...? A 'Go to hell' attitude. In a democracy!

"It's not even about the timing but the deliberate impoverishment of the populace when nothing tangible has economically benefited them. Guess VAT increment to 10% and devaluation of the naira is the next 'snakes and scorpion' project they will unleash in a bit.God help us," he tweeted.
